Lina Gálvez Muñoz is Professor of Economisc History and Institutions and Vice Rector of Post Graduate Studies at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide de Sevilla. Her research has focused on gender analysis in the organization of work in companies and markets, uses of time and unpaid work. On these topics she has coordinated research teams and published largely. Currently she is the principal researcher of a research project of the Plan Nacional I+D+i (Labor markets on shared responsibility and the uses of time), and a excellence project of the Junta de Andalucia (the economics of care in Andalucia).

She is member of the European Gender and Well-being. Work, Family and Public Policies, and the UNDP group, Unpaid Work, Gender and the Economics of care. She is the director of the Master's Degree in Gender and Equality at the University Pablo de Olavide, and she coordinates the research group EcoEcoFem (Ecological Economics, Feminist and Development).

The analysis includes gender inequality across all its scientific and intellectual activity, inspired by known and anonymous women who brought the fight for equality between women and men to their various areas of public and private lives and that served as an example.
